
John has been involved in the health and fitness industry for the last 10years, beginning as a gym based personal trainer in a small country town and has studied widely in the areas of exercise and nutrition.
Between 1999-2001 John managed a busy inner city London gym with over 2000 members, whilst operating his own personal training business aimed at busy corporate executives and managing to travel for fun across four continents.
In 2002 John returned to Australia and studied the Pilates Method with Sally Anderson of Pilates International. This precise system of strengthening and stretching muscles became an integral part of his method of physical training and opened the doorway to the wonderful world of yoga.
John Fell
In 2004 John began the Yoga Synergy Teacher Training Apprenticeship with Simon Borg-Olivier and Bianca Machliss and also completed the Yoga Synergy Anatomy and Physiology course. This influence has led John to broaden his approach to health and wellness to include techniques which enhance the body, mind and spirit.
John has attended workshops with both Shandor Remete and Clive Sheridan at Yoga Synergy.
John is certified as a Personal Trainer (Certificate IV) and is registered with Fitness Australia. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism which he puts to good use, writing and speaking about all aspects of health and fitness, particularly yoga which has become his true passion.
John and his wife Ruthie run a mobile personal training business combining the principles of fun, functional fitness, breath regulation and healthy eating.
